Armenians commit armed attack on Azerbaijan’s Honorary Consulate in Kharkiv
On the night of 6 to 7 November, the building of the Honorary Consulate of Azerbaijan in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv was subjected to an armed attack, Honorary Consul Afgan Salmanov told AZERTAC.
“At 02:30 a.m. this night, six shots were fired at the consulate building located at the address Yaroslav Mudrov 7 street hitting the windows and the door. There were no casualties since there was nobody in the office at that time. An investigation is ongoing to determine the persons who fired at the building,” he said.
The security cameras of the consulate recorded two young people involved in the incident. A criminal case has been launched into the incident, a police investigation is currently underway.
